I agree. You have to watch the common plecos. I had one along time ago kill an Oscar of mine because I had no idea they did that and lfs told me the damage was caused by a heater or bad husbandry. I caught the pleco in the act and thought that it was because the Oscar was already compromised. Once that Oscar was gone it started going after the other fish too. It started doing it in the light even..... bad fish those commons once they get a taste. I have no idea if the l24 will do that but as I understand all omnivore and carnivore plecos can and possibly will given the opportunity.
