Pitbull Plecos, anyone have them?

Ended up getting a baby albino bristlenose. It's about 2 inches in size. I put out some cucumber to get it to come out where I can see it. Sometimes it does. Long as I see at least once a day, I know it's still alive. It has some growing up to do.

another cheap food they like is canned unsalted french cut green beans
That's a weird thing for them to like. I'll try that next. I'd like to switch between different foods, see what it likes best. Any other things that would be good?

The pleco is so little, I worry about it if I don't see it at least once a day. Being an albino, it is easy to see on the dark sand. I hope offering other food will lure it out of hiding more often.

zucchini, better nutrition than cucumber for sure, mine love it

At least my fish will eat healthy, better than I do! I think I would almost take your weather in Alaska, than what I currently have here. 85 outside and about 90 in my work space.

I leave in the same spot every time. The first time I put out cucumber, I did see the little one on it. I think eventually even the corys will start working on it. Also plan on getting a Raphael cat. Fresh food is probably good for it too.

i have bushynose, bulldogs and raphaels all in the same tank. the bushynose are great algae eaters, bulldogs look cool and do a great job of cleaning extra food off the sand but don't do much for algae. raphaels are fun but dont plant on ever seeing them. i have 2 the size of my hand and see them maybe 1x every 3 months
