My Congicus and Ornate growout

Just thought I'd post all of my updates on my 2 congicus, 4 ornates in here. My tank is a 5x2x2 (150g).

Congicus, both were maybe around 5.5"-6".

(5/15/17) Almost 3 weeks. Starting to look like real Congicus.

The bully congicus (Need to give her a lot of food so she doesn't start being mean.)



Other Congicus (Swims around a lot unlike the lazy one above)

Yes, its actually him tank, all the UJ is his except the ornate which im just growing it there

Yeah, even among the 4, I think they have slightly different looking patterns.

Im intrested to see how the ornate grows in the red garnet, mine is on a playsand and they yellow dont look like yours.

They probably won't look as yellow when they get bigger. It'll probably more balanced. I've always wanted to keep a dark colored Ornate (looks like it has no yellow at all, just black and white). A different LFS had those dark colored Ornate but they were even smaller than my current ornates.
I believe the dark colored Ornate grows up to look like this.
