Looks good man! What's the stock gonna be?
Thanks! Still can't believe it's here and how big. I was prepared for the tank size but the external overflows were a little deeper front to back then I thought. Turns out they are 6" then the 4" I thought.

But stocking will be 1 vieja synspilum. Would like to have three but I'll figure that out later.

10 thorichthys meeki
10 thorichthys pasiones
I have existing balas sharks that someone's been watching for me so they will go in here as well. Love those guys

Just an update. I managed to get a good amount of pvc cut for the plumbing today. A little tough trying to get everything to stay together just for a press fit as its hanging from the bulkhead. Realized once i got it all done that i forgot to include the unions i got for my edrain. Then realized i got threaded unions instead of slip. Must have had a brain fart today so i called it a day.

I screwed all my bulkheads in hand tight and then another 1/4 turn probably so they were nice and snug. Then once i fitted the pipe in to it the bulkhead jiggled a little bit? It was only on 1 so maybe i maybe i didnt tighten enough but glad i caught it before getting it all together and filling

Will be cool to see all those Thorichthys in there!

I'm so excited to get fish lol it's going to be awesome. Just need to finish up plumbing and start the cycling process which will suck since I'm starting from scratch again. Need to try that seachem stuff

U better be working night and day.... mario (mario&Luigi)

I always had great success with tetra safestart

I'm trying. Not enough hours in the day with everything going on at the moment. It's almost there just need to exhange the fittings and put it on and we are basically good to go besides glueing it.

And have you? I want to use something like that to speed up the cycle process since I don't have any media at the moment with how long I have been without a running tank

Stuff works great. What are you planning on ussing as an ammonia source ?

Honest to to god I really have no idea. I never really worried about it since the last tank I had forever was cycled with turtles who don't really need anything. Any suggestions on that?

Also when I glue pvc to the bulkhead is it like glueing to a regular piece of pvc?

Yes same rules for gluing.

I honestly never cycled a large tank. You would need 5 or 6 bottles for your tank. Are your intended fish small ?
