That picture caused me to think about my father. He was a member of the 4th Marine Division and did the very thing pictured. He fought on Tinian, Saipan and Iwo Jima. He was shot on Iwo Jima in an area I think was called the meat grinder. He survived and recovered. He was training for the invasion of the Japanese mainland when the war ended.
There is some kind of active shooter situation going on in a highrise hospital in Bronx New York.The gunman may be wearing a white doctor's coat.
