Tips on Feeding Lima Shovelnose

I have a Lima shovelnose catfish coming from AquaScape Online, in fact as a side note it's out for delivery now so should be here any second now. It's been a long time since I've had a lima shovelnose. I know that sometimes they can take a while to settle in or others may start eating in a day. TSN always ate the first day for me but in the past limas took 2-3 days. I am going to offer frozen bloodworms, market shrimp, brine shrimp and blackworm flakes from yourfishstuff.com. What else should I feed?
Also, I have a few rocks and plastic plants in the tank? Should I expect the lima shovelnose to be a bit more active?
 
I wouldn't waste the brine shrimp or the flakes, they will probably be too small and the lima will be looking for a larger meal. Market shrimp always worked for me. Make sure you have some long plants or wood going vertically. They will spend most of their time hanging out vertically waiting for a meal to come by.

This is a picture of my tank from 2008. He stayed in this vertical position most of the day, like all catfish he was very active at night. You may want to try feeding the tank shrimp at night when he is out foraging for food.

Ok awesome!!!! He looks sweet. I generally feed the shrimp and bloodworms at night before bed it's when the black bar silver$ and redhooks can get some with out the chocolate cichlid and severum hogging it all

Those food items should be fine but add a brand of pellet in your feeding rotation.
