So live bloodworms? Ive tried omega one flakes, sinking shrimp pellets,freeze dried blood worms,hikari cichlid gold mini pellets and api algae wafers with no interest at all

Was going to suggest getting some old filter media from a friend etc to "jump" start you bb.
You do know what you have started, don't you? I see the start of a bad case of MTS (multiple tank syndrome). The only known cure is a wife and kids lol
Freeze dried bloodworms is what I was talking about. How long have you had the little guy? I personally stay away from Hikari, to me it has a lot of fillers etc (a lot of people use it and like it). I'm in Australia so the selection isn't great but I have totally switched to New life spectrum.
If you cannot get garlic guard try blending (add some water) a couple of cloves of garlic and use the juice from that. It won't do the little guy any harm (of course if you dumped a huge amount it might lol)
Haha yeah it all started with my betta tank that was a gift. I'm single and have my own house so no holds barred. I do have some biological media in my 2.6 betta tank i doubt it would do much though right?
It might help a little. As long as the betta is totally healthy it's fine. Trust me once you get a "boss"
things will change lol. Unless of course, you find one that loves fish...

people here are great. One thing that has really helped me was getting large air pumps and have a couple of sponge filters in the tank at all times so you have a spare seeded filter whenever one is needed

If I was in your situation, I would be trying the garlic guard, Epsom salts and defrosted bloodworms. Defrost the worms in a glass with tank water, and some Epsom salts (it makes the fish poo), add garlic. Let it sit for 30mins and try.
Unfortunately, I purchased a bristle-nosed pleco from a store and it never would eat and died :-(
The only filtration on this tank right now are one 80 galon hydro sponge filter and in the other corner is a 10 gallon hydro sponge for when i buy a 10 gallon quarantine tank. If we're doing the math that would make four tanks haha.

As much as I love sponge filters, when the little guy gets bigger you might need a canister. I have an Australian Bass (no relation to the American Bass) that has 2 large sponge filters, 1 HOB and a massive canister (800Gph) on a 75G tank
