I spoke with Jeff Rapps and this is what he said.

"The fish are likely of Usamacinta basin population based on coloration. I do not know of filial lineage or precise ancestry/collection data.
Belize and Quintana Roo state of MX collected fish (photo attached of adult) tend to be less red and more blue-green. I have collected many 'synspila' from cenotes in SE MX and Belize.
They do not attain the red color of populations found further west and southwest into Usamacinta and tributaries."

So I am not sure what the fish will actually look like when I did a quick search based on that location?

Where's the photo attached?

Just some more pics. Put the right light on tonight after doing a water change and everyone seems to be cruising the tank. The two balas and Vieja seem to have become pals and swim across the tank with eachother. Hard to get the Vieja to stay still to get a good pic of their color. Starting to see some blue on them. If I remember right the male is the one with four spots on his side while the female has three. Also there's a few pics of the meeki. I got a close up shot of the runt. Kinda funny looking when you compare to the rest of them

How long does it take for them to reach full size roughly? I'm pretty excited for them to color up. Any suggestions food wise on how to make their colors pop as well?

Looking really good

Thanks!
