Indo Dats will most likely be extinct from the wild in under 5 years... the yield from local fisherman is less than 10% when compared to last year.. and last year's yield was about 20% vs. 3 years ago. Pollution from all the new Palm oil factories are creating havoc on the local fish populations.

That is really sad news.

I had heard a little about the ravages of palm oil growing but I haven't looked into it very much.Thanks for posting that information.

Yeah, Palm Oil is hugely destructive.

Its absolutely demolishing the herp populations and will likely be the cause for earless monitors and the caecilian species extinction.

Yeah that stuff about the oil is crazy. They cut or burn the forest to get the land ready to plant. There was a episode on Vice about it. Crazy out there

There’s an only importer in vietnam, and he’s selling 6cm-7cm cb st for around 4 grands.... so almost equal to a wc ones....
