520 gallon plywood tank

How did you put the lid/brace on? Did you just screw it straight down into the tank?

Did you use fiberglass cloth for your seams? Are there any good guides on using it? I’m starting my plywood tank soon and that’s the only part I’m nervous about. I’ve never worked with it before.

yes I did. Pond armor had YouTube videos as well as several diy builders. I mostly followed diy Kings design and watched the pond armor videos to make sure I did the liner and seams to their recommendations.

Did you use a table saw for all your cuts? Jig saw for the viewing panel? I’m trying to decide if I want to use a skill saw and a guide for straight cuts or fork over the money for a table saw. Just trying to figure everything out before i start buying stuff. I’m doing a 360 gallon.

How much did you spend on screws? I saw you were using the ones that don’t require pre drilling.

Thanks
