Piebald and Creamsicle... what’s the difference?

Hi,

I want to source a Midas in a pure white and bright orange colour.

I’m not sure if this would be creamsicle or piebald or if that’s actually the same thing...

What’s the difference?! And are there any other types I’m missing, besides standard barred and gold barred...?

Also, I’d prefer if the fish was F1. I know I’ve seen F1 from piebald parents advertised. Is it the same for creamsicle, or is this a line bread variant?

Now I see I’m after creamsicle all the way...!

I assume this is not naturally occurring, cause that ain’t exactly camouflage is it?!

Therefore I can’t expect that in an F1 fish? I’ll need a line bred fish, right?

Thank you, but I’m in UK...
I think it would cost me hundreds to import from Rapps direct and I’m not sure where I should go. This was going to be my next thread, asking where I can get me some nice ones.
I could order from “Cichlids of the America’s” via Rob Johnston of Lincs Fish over here in UK, as he imports from them, but he seems to be struggling to tell me if these are available...

I’ll try Jeff Rapps anyway and just ask if there’s a UK source for his fish...
