Surprised no one thought of entertaining the idea of salt or salt baths...

Eitherway, good to hear hes getting better...

It’s a good idea. Figure if meds all didn’t start to work then suggest some salt.

He seems to be feeling better, he really pigged out this morning. It was good to see him eat so much. Still covered in ich tho so we'll see if it clears up. Thanks for the advice guys

You can.

So update.... It's not looking great. Fahaka seems a little better still and is still eating. Sometimes eats a lot sometimes a little. The ich seems to have cleared on some of the other fish that had it but the fahaka still shows spots (not as many as before). Problem is I've lost 4 fish in 2 days. Lost the smallest tiger barb in there caught half his body as the other fish were eating him. Lost my picctus catfish which is one of the first who showed the ich but seemed clear after. Lost my Ghost knifefish who wasn't showing any signs of anything but got home today and he was very white and dead. Lastly I lost one of the zebra tetras i had (body never found). I' not sure if this sounds normal due to the ich or if it could be something worse. Still doing treatment to tank and daily to every 2 days 20% water changes when I do the meds. Any advice would be appreciated

Fish maybe intolerant to meds. For sure the bgk will be. The other fish may have already been sick and medications probably added to them dying.

Would cont with what ur doing till all spots are gone.

Also, make sure you vaccum the bottom of your tank very well with each water change to try and remove any fallen ich cysts that came off the fish...

Otherwise this may end up as a never ending battle...

Yea definitely will, I worry that too much medication over time won' be good either
