What is the difference of Longnose,Florida and spotted Gar.

But I can't just help thinking about how big the oscars MOUTH on the day I say it yawning.:confused:
Wouldn't the oscar at least try to swallow it?(because it has a very thin body)

Hit or miss. Just be cautious. If really worried. Just separate and eventually the gar will catch up.

oscar?(the Gar is exactly 15 cm)
I find gars enjoy aquatic vegetation on the water surface when young, try handfeeding him live guppies to get him eating

Ok I'll try that. But I also tried hand feeding them small raw meat pieces but it wouldn't take them. So I left two small pieces in the tank .,hoping it would at least eat them through the night.

And the Gar would like earthworms wouldn't it.? would it like live or dead ines both?
Could I feed it bloodworms too?(not live)
