I've just seen this thread. I'm in the UK and have 4 typhoons. I have had them just over a year, 3 I obtained from a private supplier which are all about 4 inch now and a bigger one about 6 inches which I got from the guys at Silksworth. I'd say yours is priced well for it's size. Do you have it yet?

No m8 trying to arrange pick up, was ment to be going tommorow (Sunday) but the guy cancelled on me again for the second time, he lives at Birmingham so I can only go on a week end as I work 6 days a week, he seemed like a genuine guy on the phone but I'm starting to fear hes a messa, hope not I've been trying to get one of these for well over a year
If he lets you down have you tried Carl Dutton? He's got a few typhoons but I think they are big . I had considered selling 2 of my small ones and getting a blue eye from pier but the last blue eye I had in with them was a male and it was carnage .
No I haven't tryied carl Dutton does he have a shop? Ha that's mad I have a blue eye (Suttoni) and it's super placid lol, it's only around 10" though so not massive, pritty sure it's female also which probably makes a difference, I was a pier last week m8 they have some big blue eyes in like around the 14" mark at a guess for £400 they also have some smaller ones at around 7" £275 each I think.
Aye I think if my blue eye had been placid I'd have kept it but I came in from work one night and it was trying to nail the typhoons, if it had got them into one of the caves I'm sure it would have ended badly, not what you want with £400 fish. I saw the ones at pier on the Facebook page and they do look stunning.
Carl does have a shop, if you are on Facebook it's country side aquatics. He's a nice guy and should be able to help out. Typhoons are like buses there's a few around and then they seem to disappear for a while, I think most go to the Asian market.
Thanks very much I'll give him a call, not sure if this is right but one of my friends that lives over Sunderland way was on the phone earlier and seems to think that guy at silksworth aquatics has some and he may sell one of his? That would be ideal I only live about half an hour away from there, if that's the case I'll call them as well, heard nothing but good things about that shop as well which is great, plus you said that were you got one of yours from.
Michael at Silksworths has 4 but I don't know if he's selling any. They have some nice plecs it would be worth a visit. I can contact the guy that supplied my three small ones if you like ?
Hi mark do you know if silksworth aquatics have changed there phone number or something? I've tried to ring them today 3-4 times and it's not working it's saying that the number is not in use, I'm not on face book either so I can't contact them that way, unless the shop has moved or something any idea?
