Flint town!
I skip every other day and sometimes about every two weeks I'll go two days of no food. It wont hurt them. If I were you though you need to incorporate a pellet of some type. Mine really like pleco bites from the bug bites foods. Lots of protein and veggies too. Mine will eat almost anything I feed them now, it takes a bit but pellets are your friend.

Any favorite methods of doing that? I haven't used a divider before
size of tank, is that your 100? Might be tricky with decorations. I use egg crate light diffusers for bigger sized tanks. You can pick them up at Home Depot under $20.

They are in a 40gal grow out rank right now. I am still working on my 100gal set up. And awesome! Thank you! I really have to regulate him. I have caught him twice now nipping at my other bichirs during feeding time. He doesn't do any damage... yet... O.O

I did read somewhere that a round bichir is a happy bichir...
Agreed. My CB sen is a little fatty, the WC one has a bit more control.. It has been theorised that the captive fish tend to eat more than their wild counterparts in an aquarium.
