Shark egg help???

Hey guys, my tank crashed this morning..Nirates and Nirites were very high and i lost everything in the tank besides a crab i have..I had a bamboo shark egg in the tank also which i took to my lfs now..Whats the chances of the shark surviving in the egg?

I'm surprised that the crab survived as inverts are usually the first to succomb in such conditions.I think the egg case should be okay.

Me too and you are welcome.I have raised bamboos from hatchlings but I have never bought and hatched any eggs.What caused your system to crash,if you don't mind my asking?

I was away for the weekend and my lion fish died...That’s all I could that would have caused the crash

How would I know if the shark is dead in the egg? I tried shining a light against it but it looks to big to move inside the egg

Well thats terrible. Im sorry that happened to you. Like others said ive raised bamboo sharks too but never from an egg. If it was out of the egg though it'd be dead too they are really fragile when it comes to water quality. Hope for the best for you!
