just put it this way ornate been in the tank for awhile so basiclly it claims the whole tank as its territory, no other poly to take its territory then now tour introducing a smaller poly that is half its size and maybe skinny as a pencil, its mostlikely be a food source or a treat to its territory.
Remember ornate are known to be one of the most aggressive poly, it might be nice right now but adding a smaller poly might change the ornate.
Some fish dont mind sharing space to other fish that dont look like them, just example arowanas they can be quite and nice to other fish but add another aro and they will start killing each other.
