Woman banned from a California Walmart for riding around the store on a shopping scooter while drinking wine out of a Pringles can.

I would think it would take some real effort to get banned from Wally World. Short of shoplifting anyways. I mean, have you seen some of these pictures and YouTube videos? Amazing what people do.

Hello; Let me add two things. (bear in mind these are memories from the 1960's) One being it takes a while for the toxins to accumulate. My professor used an example of beans. Say some cooked beans are left out too long. The bacteria begin to grow and reproduce. A short while after the bacteria begin to excrete their waste products the mom has a small taste , a single spoon full. An hour or so later dad and son eat a bowl of beans. Mom gets ill but dad and son die. Mom got a smaller dose while dad and son get a bigger dose.
One other thing I think I recall is that all would have lived if they had heated the beans up hot enough. You ought to check out but I think the toxins have proteins that can be destroyed with enough heat. I hope this is true because I always heat up leftovers.
Last thanksgiving I ate at a friends house. I brought some dishes myself. His wife made up a leftover plate which I took home. Some stuff I tossed and the stuff I did eat later I nuked.

Sound logical, though I would reckon that the amount of heat required is dependent on how long it's been out and how much bacteria is present -- this college student died from food poisoning after eating pasta that had been left on a counter for 5 days (duh!) at room temperature. The food was reheated but reports don't say how long or by what means.

Hello; I eat leftovers from time to time. I reheat them but sometimes I stir the food up before it has been completely reheated or use a spoon to remove the leftovers from a container. I use a new and different spoon for eating the leftovers not the one used to stir when not fully cooked.
I can picture someone who leaving food out on a counter that way not switching a utensil. There might have been enough toxin on the spoon???

I eat leftovers all the time usually cold. But they are stored in the fridge not on the counter or under my bed. I also will not eat any leftover that wasnt refrigerated before it was completely cooled. I worked in food service way to long. I know health codes and correct temps food should be stored and heated to and why its important. Cold food if kept cold and was cooked and cooled properly is fine. I love cold fried chicken!

Hello; Good point. I also refrigerate before the food gets cold. In the winter I bake stuff that have more food than I can eat at one time. I let it cool down but get it in the fridg while still warm.
