When the power goes out for an extended period and it comes back on, does the pump come back on 100% power? Or at the wattage it was set at?

Hey guys, I just got my Jebao DCP 8000 yesterday (it's the newest version of their DC pumps). Here is a link to the one I bought:

This is supposed to be the quietest and most efficient version yet. Here are the pictures from the unboxing:

These are not that readily available in the US yet and I believe they were just released in August of last year. There have been some comments on other forums that some places were importing and selling the Asian version, but that it was causing people problems when connecting it to power in the US. From what I have read, the US version has to have the controller labeled in English and has the "Sine Wave Technology" across the bottom.
The pump is rated for 2113gph at 65W, which is much better than the Rio 20HF it will be replacing that was rated at 1290gph at the same 65W. Being a DC pump, I can turn it down and use less power when running it on lower settings. I don't plan on running it full blast, which is one of the reasons I went for the 8000 over the 6000.
It comes with three sets of inlet/outlet fittings for 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4" PVC slip connections. It also has o-rings for the inlet and outlet. It can be run as an external pump, but must be placed below the water level of where it is pulling from because it is not a self priming pump.
It should look pretty much the same as the older DCT and DCS pumps that were it's predecessors, but I believe it is slightly smaller.
I will keep you guys posted on how it works out and how quiet it really is when I get it hooked up.

My jebao dcq 6500 has a 1.5" mptThanks for the detailed review.
I have a question for you. What size is the threaded outlet connection on your 8000 model?
I’m asking as I’m thinking about getting the 8000 version, but want to connect a threaded socket union onto the pumps outlet rather than using the supplied connectors.
Many thanks
That's odd because my dcp 8000 has a 1.25" mpt.My jebao dcq 6500 has a 1.5" mpt

My return bulkheads are 1.5" so I really wish the pump was 1.5" too...
Maybe because it's DCP model?
I don’t believe it is a standard thread. You are probably better off getting the pump and then using pvc to adapt it to the threads you want.
