What type of frog ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Awe, cute!

I finally saw a tree frog for the first time in years right after we got our pool set up. He must have been drawn over by all the gnats eating us alive>.<

Did everything go smooth with the move?

Havent seen any. Im really surprised at the lack of stinging bugs. This time of yr in DE you cant go outside after sundown, get eaten alive. So for FLA iv'e yet to get stung by even a mosquito
I wonder if they spray heavily for skeeters?

I wondered the same. Im really pleasantly surprised. We assumed ut would be much worse. Ive been outside at night more here than a months worth in DE and we did spray.

City slicker relocating into the swamp :nilly:
Oh man i look at everything as a poisonous and deadly lol. Its my little one im concerned with he has absolutely no fear and doesn't listen to us to boot

Sorry to hear about the dat, but glad everything else went well!
Thx. Someone local sells them so we'll pick up a few more once things settle down.

Huge bonus !!!! Living near actual LFS that sell fish we like. I walked into a petco the other day and was completely shocked at the stock. All sorts of cool fish

Depending on what area of Florida you are in it may be a good idea to teach the kids about snakes. Where there are tree frogs there are snakes.

Habitats:
Found throughout Florida, mostly in dry habitats, including hardwood hammocks, pinewoods, swamp edges, and suburban neighborhoods. It spends most of its time buried under loose leaf litter or logs or underground in stump holes or small burrows.
VENOMOUS
They do say the Pygmy Rattlesnake is the most commonly encountered venomous snake in urbanized areas, often in gardens or brush piles.
