75 gallon

18 neon tetras
9 rummynose tetras
9 peppered cories
6 bolivian rams
1 albino bristlenose pleco
2 nerite snails

I'll be adding 5 juvenile angelfish and separating later on as they pair

I know its heavily stocked but the pothos and plants do very well with nitrates and wc schedule is 50% on mon and fri

Current filtration is aquaclear 110 and ehiem 2217 ....should I add another aquaclear 110. I have an extra one on my 55 gallon along with a marineland bio wheel 350 stock is low

The tank is heavily planted

If you run everything wide open you're currently at 10x turnover another ac will bring you to 16x.

If you throttle the 110s back you should be fine though.

I always pack my filters pretty well so I know my flow rate isnt as high.

Yea maybe I'll throttle both the aquaclear back.

The ehiem gph sucks as it is lol

There are no powerheads and with the ac110 and ehiem 2217 flow seems to be ok. Adding the other ac110 I dont believe the flow will be too much if that's what you guys were thinking

You don't have to, the tank is pretty lightly stocked and the filtration as of now would likely be more than enough, with the plants added on the tank would be fine. It wouldn't hurt to add another AC on it, but there's no real point

That's a heavily stocked 75 with the Angel's as well

That's not heavily stocked lol, if you had 200 tetras or something then yes, it'd be heavily stocked, but you have 42 small fish (under 4 inches) and only 1 somewhat large fish (the bristlenose which would likely be around 6 inches). The angelfish will make the tank medium stocked.

Yes, with those species, and angels, that's exactly what I was thinking. I once ran 2 AC110's on a 55, but that was with fish that lived in the surf zone. That's not what you have going on, so not sure why you feel the need to add another AC?
