I'm trying to get on a lawn care program myself. The neighbor to the left has the best yard on the street the right neighbor makes tons of money and is trying to catch the other one. Meanwhile they're making my yard stand out like a sore thumb

I seeded my front yard in May and that carpet came in looking like golf course in Augusta but now I'm seeing a lot of die off..... very disheartening considering all that damned water I've been wasting on the grass.
I just started this year with a lawn care company fertilizing my lawn. I was doing it myself but was getting frustrated with the rising price of fertilizer and not happy with the results.
Has it been hot in your area? I had the lawn care company send samples of my soil to be tested. The lawn was lacking Sulphur and Phosphate. Notice a difference from a couple of months ago after lawn company added those two supplements.
Hello; I have around 3/4 of an acre to push mow and in past years it would slow down growing in July and August. Not the last couple of years tho. My area broke all time records for rain last year and are way ahead for rain totals so far this year. That grass just keeps on growing. I never fertilize the stuff cause it just grows more when you do.
We've been through a few heat wave stretches and are about to enter another.I think I might have to look into a lawn care company.I want the front yard to look it's best.
I just have the lawn care company do the front and side of the house. I actually observed 3 lawn care companies neighbor's are using after 2 yrs of observation chose the same company my next door neighbor is using. Really liked how well my neighbor lawn improved over that time.
