hardly maintenance free. I have 2 in a 55g and they produce tons of waste and hate current flow so its a lot of manual poop removal and water changes.Get some Axolotls. They are fun and literally maintenance free

I was thinking they were pretty high maintenance with their gills out in the open, andhardly maintenance free. I have 2 in a 55g and they produce tons of waste and hate current flow so its a lot of manual poop removal and water changes.

I have a 40g breeder heavily planted I only change my water out every other week. They are around 7-8” each and my nitrate and nitrite is undetectable. I have a population of guppies breeding so I barely feed. I set and forget and just trim the plants every so often. They are literally water puppies who would swim up to the glass every time I’m close. I hand feed when possible. Idk they are maintenance free to me.I was thinking they were pretty high maintenance with their gills out in the open, andGo_redfish account of the ones she got.

Yes I get to keep my tanks and yes I still have Casper.Man, I can't keep up with what's going on with you these days!
Last time you were saying you had to get rid of your big tanks, I am guessing that has changed? (Hoping it has) Do you still have Casper too?
Ogertron3000 I don't know if you saw this thread.
FREE - Rehoming my 9in Sagittae Casper
Have to rehome my Sagittae Casper I got from Jeff Rapps back in September. He comes with his new female as well. She needs to catch up some in size. You can read up on his shenanigans here https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/my-amphilophus-sagittae-journal.708120/www.monsterfishkeepers.com
Long story short, my tanks/fish/birds are now being protected by an Emotional Support Animal authorization from my shrink.
