hardly maintenance free. I have 2 in a 55g and they produce tons of waste and hate current flow so its a lot of manual poop removal and water changes.

I have a 40g breeder heavily planted I only change my water out every other week. They are around 7-8” each and my nitrate and nitrite is undetectable. I have a population of guppies breeding so I barely feed. I set and forget and just trim the plants every so often. They are literally water puppies who would swim up to the glass every time I’m close. I hand feed when possible. suggested that I get an Emotional support animal authorization from my shrink. I plum forgot that she gave me one a decade ago, just had to get a new copy of it and give it to the new owners.

Been busy and haven't been on much so missed all this, I saw all your for sale posts and you mentioned the new lease rules so was puzzled when I saw you had suddenly got some new oscars but it makes sense now.
