Healthy Looking ocell if you ask me, and you don’t have to lie to us... you bought it because it was cute looking.
Lol no shame here. I was thinking ocellaris too but I’m too new to them to say definitively so I always ask. But a pbass alone in a tank is sad so he needed to come home, and I only have the xingu trio so I need a few more for a nice group anyways. Have a couple orinos coming this week to finish out my grow out group.

Plus two orinocensis arriving today. I’ll have to power feed the ocell and most likely the orinos to catch the xingu. Xingu are each about 4 in, ocell is 2 and orinos are supposedly 2 but we shall see.

Two orinos came in today. Look healthy, roughly two inches. I’ll post a pic once they settle in. I had a question for anyone following this thread though... the seller claims they are wild but I am skeptical. I bought them assuming they were captive bred so if they are wild all the better. I’m skeptical though due to price and their size. Is it common to find wc pbass for sale at a 2in mark? Additionally I paid 20 usd per fish which seemed quite reasonable to me, but maybe I’m just not in the know. No reason not to believe the seller but I figured I would throw it around here and see what others thought. Appreciate once again all the help and info that everyone has provided!

Just posting a little update. These pics are during a feeding in a tank that has a Royal pleco that makes more drift wood debris than I would have ever imagined. So don’t judge me based on all the wood particles since the stirred it up while feeding.
