Different Arowana farms
Golden Crossback Arowana originally came from Malaysia, and they are generally considered to breed the best Golden Crossbacks (though esp. Singapore produces some comparable level Golds).

Indonesia on the other hand is well-known for the quality of its Red Arowana.
So if your looking for Golds you want to consider Malaysia, but the Red Arowana varieties are best from Indonesia?
One day I'd like a super red, ultimate bloodred, or violet fusion or whatever-fancy-name-its-got Red Arowana so I shall remember this.

Yes that's all true -- though you can still find nice golds from Sinapore & Thailand and likewise while the very best Red Arowana come from Indonesia, Singapore farms (e.g. Qian Hu) also produce some really nice Reds.

At the end of the day each fish, regardless of where it's from, has to be reviewed upon its own merits/appearance, and basically you get what you pay for.

Unfortuantely that's a large price to pay.
And I wouldn't be able to buy a fish of that price if it couldn't be comfortable in the 8x2 I would have to offer it.

I suppose dreams are a long-term thing for a reason eh?

Yeah they are, but doesn't mean we can't take smaller steps toward our goal in the meantime. An 8X2 would be ok for a year, maybe 2, but after that you'd be wanting to get something closer to 3'.

Of course I don't know your personal circumstances but I wouldn't rush it -- not trying to sound patronizing but at your age one should ideally be focusing on school and/or employment, career etc., (during which time many have a tendency to move around, not easy with huge fish like Aros). So you've got plenty of years ahead for bigger fish & tanks and in the meantime, Arowana prices, which have been going slowly but surely down over last years due to success of farms, will likely be even more affordable in the future.

Nooooope!

I know all too well that if I went out and got an Arowana, with the full and best intentions to provide that tank later down the line, that doing that would jinx me into not being able to get it for one reason or another. I know that sort of thing all too well. Also £1-2000 for a 8x2x2 is one thing, the £6-8000 for the 9x3x3 is another thing entirely, and imho too much..

My personal circumstances are quite easy to sum up right actually. I'm looking for a 3 days per week part-time job in which my mother takes 2/3rds of income as rent and the rest I can use to my liking. Assuming my mother does go through with her plan to move in ~3months time then hopefully we'll get a house where I can easily get a 8x2x2 tank into my room. From there on its just a case of saving up.

If the OP is not taking y’all advice than I say just let him learn aros on that side of the world is cheap and abundance I’m sure if he kill this one he’ll go get another and do the same thing.

My new Crossback Golden Arowana 9-10 inch in size..
Had his tail damaged by jumping and same is cured now with medication. Now he is not eating anything, I tried Chicken heart, Prawans and goldfish too but still not eating.
Yesterday I changed the water and today I am trying to feed him but he is smelling the food by going near but not eating anything.

And hed jumped because he is stressed or crammed in a to small pf a tank. This i destined to fail as you dont take advice.

I am again repeating that = Tail is recovered and tank is also bigger now..

He is swimming freely and also we changed the 50% water content yesterday.

Update :
Also to add that my fish is just 1 yr old...just now I gave him dried blood worms which i give it to my Goldfish and he ate...I think he is to young to eat chicken heart and prawnz or I need to cut it in more smaller pieces .
