I want to breed a cichlid pair in my outdoor pond 300 gallon but not sure what cichlid to breed drop suggestions that would work

What part of the country do you live in ? Night time temps can be a factor
What is your purpose? selling fry? personal satisfaction?.....?
When I lived in Wisconsin, I had sub tropical cichlids that could tolerate cool temps breeding in similar circumstance in 300 gal stocktanks, and kiddy pools.

Above Coptodon zillii" spawning in a kiddy pool
The Geophagus braziliensus group, Gymnogeophagus, and Australoheros all readily spawned in that temp zone.
Directly below Australoheros Ceibal.

Above Gymnogeophagus spawn in a 300 Rubbermaid stock tank
Certain ive bearers, especially the high altitude Mexican type and barbs from China also readily spawned.
Getting rid of all the fry can be problematic though, in a city of 1 million, often certain species will saturate the market, the amount of people that want them quickly, so ability to ship may be needed.

above Australoheros red Ceibal fry, in the fall I would remove hundreds from the pond, and had trouble giving them away.
Luckily our aquarium club would have fall auctions, and swap meets, so and I'd bring bags of 10 individuals in each bag, and they sell for maybe a couple bucks a bag.

Pulling them out in fall (Oct) before the pond froze

duanes duanes in your opinion what would be the lowest temps these could comfortably prosper in?

I have had them (and Gymnogeophagus) in water temps under 50'F, in Uruguay where they are native, water in winter will occasionally get slightly iced over.
And I believe they need a cool down to stay healthy, doesn't need to be that low, but in constant tropical temps they seem to be prone to disease, and don't color up, like they do after a cool down.

Above is a cool room in my house in winter where I kept grow outs.
