How to kill parasitic copepods

I edited your pic a bit, to try and get a closer look, it could be that I see 9 ick cysts (or of course, they could simply be, dust on the tank glass)

So because the cichlids are scratching, if it were me, I'd treat the entire tank as if it has ick, with either an ick med, or the 3 lbs per 100 gallons of salt.
Also keep the salinity up at least a week after all cysts are no longer visible.

Does anyone know who carries Dimlin online? Amazon shipping is super delayed because of the pandemic and the most reliable store in my area doesn't have it.

It's just the glass and some detritus the pleco stirred up from the sand. No ich visible yet. I always have Kick-ich on hand but I'd rather avoid dosing multiple meds if i can. I think I'll treat for the ich if they're still irritated after the Dimlin.

So, an update, I ordered the Dimilin and went a head with manual removal of the parasites. It's probablya good thing thisll is a large armored pleco and not something more delicate because those things were dug in deep. The biggest one was inside the fish's mouth. Almost 2cm long. He tolerated it well, so we'll see how things go while I wait for the meds.

So, in case anyone finds this whilst doing research during their own anchor worm problem, I noticed that because 1 teaspoon of Dimilin treats 500 gallons, you can add a teaspoon of it to a 500mL water bottle and then dose the doluted solution at 1mL per gallon of aquarium water.

1st dose of Dimilin-X today.

Quite a few new small <1mm larvae are visible on my biggest pleco and other catfish after I did the initial manual removal so hopefully a couple doses of the Dimilin will knock these things out.
