Firemouths can be fairly mean I've noticed, but usually calm down when kept in large groups 5-7 in a fairly large tank.

I'd say around a 75 gallon or so. I suppose a 55, but that may be a little cramped if the Firemouths end up getting on the larger side. I've actually had one that was around 8-9 inches a while back.
He was in a 125 though and wasn't kept with any other fmouths, but just a few large mean CAs.
@Dwarf, to answer your question earlier about what a Fredselle is. It is my accidental crossed hybrid between a Parachromis Freidrichstallii and a Parachromis Loiselle. He was kind of evil for a while, but as of being moved in with my devil, he's fine.
I came up with the name Fredselle because I wasn't really sure what to call him. There isn't a name that I know of that describes that cross.
He's hiding right now, he has no problem being out and about normally, but once a camera is within 10 feet he hides, even my phone. PS my devil is trying to steal the spotlight. She just wants me to be paying attention to her instead of him lol.
Its kinda funny the camera doesn't do him any justice. He's larger than he looks. About 5 or so inches.
