Hello; An interesting take on the aerosol/droplet issue.
Hello; An interesting take on the aerosol/droplet issue.
Hello; For me the nature of transmission is a need to know sort of thing. First thing here is to acknowledge a sneeze or heavy cough does produce droplets and from an infected person can travel several feet and are indeed a source of infection. Most any mask can be of benefit with regard to these heavier, by comparison, drops. These droplets can be trapped inside the mask of an infected person and can be trapped outside the mask of someone else in the area. These droplets fall out of the air soon and this is where the six feet distance can also help. ( note - my unsupported guess is being within the range of an infected sneeze or cough is more risky than being around aerosol. So I am not trying to imply somehow a mask does not work.) Yes the virus can be transmitted by a sneeze or a cough is still part of the situation. For some reason these Microsoft network links are always a PITA on my iPhone.
I have to go watch it on the Windows desktop later.
My take on the whole business is: masks work for all of the people some of the time, and they work for some of the people all of the time, but they do not work for all of the people, All of the time.
Yes that’s a covert plagiarism, but I steal from the best.![]()
I really wonder about people sometimes.
Hello; I started teaching in public schools back in 1970. I saw serious problems right away. I kept thinking someone in authority was bound to come around and take some steps to fix the problems. It never happened. Fast forward over thirty years and all hope was gone. In fact in the last years before I stopped the education "experts" and other authorities had made things even worse. The way I see it is I can take measures to protect myself and do regardless of what others are doing.People have proven time and time again that people are idiots for the most part.
One of my favorite phrases, “life finds a way”.In fact we could all go away and most of the earth would remain as it is now.
