So I wanted to share my new bargain and latest venture... 2' cubed paludarium tank. It cost me £20!!

Blank canvas at the moment whilst I think what to do with it. Would love to hear your ideas...

Land mass and water, what ratio? Planted back wall only? Stocking? Plants? Any technical advice on equipment?

Seems difficult without a lid.
I would do a gravel or sand bottom and stack large rocks and wood coming up in the back.
You could probably fill it 3/4 of the way.
Stocking thoughts that come to mind are dwarf frogs, guppies, a betta, and dwarf crayfish with the filter being rigged into a waterfall (is that even possible) and have some semi aquatic plants growing out.
Any idea on its gallonage?

In terms of gallonage, I wouldn't say any more than 2 due to how little water you can actually put in these.

Although I haven't personally water tested it yet - I'm pretty confident. The last owner used it temporarily as a turtle tank with a floating island. I had to wash the water marks off which were a couple of inches from the top of the lower front section ??

The bark is cool, where did you get it?
