Yes. Manuelli were a bit tougher to get when I first started collecting Ps. When I visited Aquascape a few weeks ago that is one of the few Ps they had. $400.00 or so was the price tag on each one I believe. I am 25 minutes from Aquascape so never had to deal with live shipments.....

That's awesome! I probably would be broke if my home was near Aquascape lol.

Where in NJ are you? I’m also about 25min from Aquascape. I’m from the old boards prior to PFury. The craze for piranha heavily died down and prices jumped. When Shark Aquarium closed it drove prices up more because I think George and Pedro had some coordination. There are one or two reputable piranha dealers that popped up that are out of state.

I’m in Union County. How about you? I wish Shark Aquarium was still around. There is nothing else like it in NJ. Who are the dealers out of state if you don’t mind me asking?

I’m in Essex County. What piranha do you want to get?

The dealer I was thinking of was Advin Fishbox. You have to find them on Facebook. I remember they shut for COVID and were suppose to restart butnot sure if they have. I have not used them but read positive stuff about them.

I would be interested in Ternetzi and Piraya. I would probably add them to the shoal as my reds get bigger.

Ternetzi have not been imported in years I believe. Piraya still come in. A lot of the piranhnas that were more common 10-15 years ago are hard to get due to new local restrictions. Also, fish used to be allowed to be shipped to JFK as long as they did not stay in NY. That has no changed which has impacted imports.

Great information. I heard the same about Ternetzi. Lack of demand has to be a driving force. If there is money to be made someone would find a way to make it happen.
