Salt and clean water. Wouldn’t add the melafix. Don’t think it’s a lost cause.
Thank you will do! Will keep this updated as well. Should I add new salt each time I do water change? At what amount? I’m currently doing 2 tablespoons as Tom has suggested. I’m planning 20 percent water change daily or every other day.Salt and clean water. Wouldn’t add the melafix. Don’t think it’s a lost cause.
I’d not add anymore salt. Only do a water change if the nitrates exceed 20ppm. Would add 1 tsp per g since more of prevention of disease. What Tom has mentioned is fine. Adding the salt back with a water change is good too. Make sure it’s eating.Thank you will do! Will keep this updated as well. Should I add new salt each time I do water change? At what amount? sounds good. I'll do the water change more sparingly and make sure to feed. Thanks! Will post updates periodicallyI’d not add anymore salt. Only do a water change if the nitrates exceed 20ppm. I’ll add epsom salt then. Will most likely keep the datnoid in the main tank (removed the decor, replacing the heater) and will do small water change everyday now that I am unable to add salt. The Epsom salt helps to reduce eye swelling. It’s plant friendly.
