I don’t live in Kentucky either ?I just visit that place every week cause they’re awesome another thing I’ve been wanting to keep that they have all the time are mormyrid dolphin fish
 
I saw elephant nosed fish once at a petco and I dont think ive laughed so hard at a fish ever before then and not until this day.

I think it’s wrong when hybrid fish get released into the hobby and are mislabeled as a pure species and when flowerhorn are line breed to the point where they have disproportionate sized humps that affects their ability to swim normally or other normal functions such as when blood parrots aren’t able to eat normally. Fish like that should be culled. Other than I don’t think it’s as bad as dye injected fish.

I’ve never seen elephant fish but they are hilarious but I’ve owned a bottle nosed mormyrid but it jumped out of the tank and one of my dogs had a treat

Yea if my flower horn ends up with a softball forehead then I’m selling him or her I wouldn’t want that in my house it’s not right

That would be unlikely. The massive humps are desirable to some people so those more often go for the high dollar. But you are right that it isn’t right.
