You missed the part of internal parasites not showing issues (from the infected fish) after being in the owner's aquarium for months.
Ive never had a fish with any internal parasites. I know this is a new fish and there’s no telling but I’m pretty sure the store treats all their fish before they sell them. I can call and ask them later

Ok someone please explain this. Which one of you guys rewatched the video 100+ times ? also I fed him some pellets this morning and he devoured them all 1 by one and never let one get past him but I’m confused because his stomach isn’t any bigger but I saw him eat a lot 7D0DFFA9-6FF6-4FB7-845B-B481136820C3.jpeg

Popular cat!
Not all fish stomachs expand after eating. My puffers balloon up after feedings, but cichlids and characins look the same.

150 views in 1 day that’s incredible. And yea not all fish stomachs expand after eating but every catfish I’ve kept have had a big stomach after feeding so I was expecting the same with this guy but I guess not. Just happy he finally ate

In 10 minutes that video now has 154 views. Someone has it on repeat and fell asleep I think ?

Just got home from fishing and check on Cookie Monster ( catfish name) and his stomach is really fat. Don’t think it’s bloat because he’s swimming like normal but I think he finally ate because the small fillet of tilapia I put in this morning is all in shreds
