New tank owner looking to upgrade

If it sounds too good to be true, it is haha. It would cost way more than 70$ just to ship a tank like that to the next state. But a 225g, delivered from the other side of the world, for 70$? No way, plus if you google "kroink scam", the first thing that comes up is someone saying they got scammed. Gotta use your head!

On your BGK question, I think some good suggestions have been made. Another that I'd consider when you do get a much larger tank, would be some geophagus. They aren't predators or eels, but they will grow to a nice size and have interesting looking mouths, very pretty fish. Would be a nice counter-point to the oddball fish in the tank with them, and shouldn't pose a problem living with BGK.

Well I got a notification my order shipped, it's going to take 15-30 days and I'll either take the loss or end up with something. I tried emailing saying I wanted to cancel but I guess nobody has looked at it yet.

I looked up the fish, I like it! And yeah I made an impulse purchase first thing in the morning, normally I'm a bit sharper than that. Not my proudest moment lmao

Did they provide a tracking number?

Whatever you end up getting at the end of those 15-30 days, let us know if possible.

I got a tracking number but when I went to put it in the site was weird saying the number doesn't exist, and it pulled up an option to go to something involving China. At the end of the day I'm getting my card replaced and taking the L, 70usd isn't the end of the world and if it doesn't arrive in 30 days I can contact them about a refund. Whether I get one or not, I don't care too much. I consider this a lesson learned that if it seems too good to be true it probably is. I thought maybe it was a used tank someone was just trying to get rid of, but that's unlikely considering how much they cost.
