Another wolf fish tankmate question

Aaaanyways, there was a bite mark on my sleeper goby so I put the wolf in his own tank now. Told myself I'd separate or sell the wolf at the first sign of aggression. Not gonna risk it. Thanks for everyone's input! Oh and I think my wolf was a hoplias intermedius based on pictures I stumbled upon.
I got a 40 breeder with a wolf (pretty sure common) Oscar , and striped pike , all are around the same size (~6 inch) , got them about a month ago and I'm having no aggression problems, one bite from the wolf to the pike but I'm confident it was because they were casing the same minnow and the pike was newer at the time and zero injury to the pike (I was shocked to not see even 1 tooth mark), I would like to keep them together forever ( not in a 40 obviously) anyone have success raising a wolf with another fish?
