Your least favorite aquarium fish and why

Crayfish. You can't put them with any fish because either they eat the fish or the fish eat them.
My own personal experiences would say otherwise. Kept a blue crayfish with an Oscar, red devil, feather fin squeaker and clown loach together for 3 yrs in college.
I currently have self cloning crayfish in a sump as treats for my bigger fish but these aren’t commingled

I would add Bass to the list. They aren't attractive but a lot of folks like them. Don't know what the appeal is unless they're interactive? Have no clue.
Bass as in small or large mouth or other species from the same genus?

If you’re talking about Cichla, they’re beautiful fish and quite stunning to watch swim or yawn

was that Viktors? thebiggerthebetter

No idea, it was just something I stumbled across. I tend it to think it didn't belong to Viktor because I would have likely taken notice of that.

Any "long-finned" variant of any fish. They just don't appeal to me, I don't like the overly long fins. That doesn't mean their life has any less value to me, I just personally would never own one.

To me, all balloon, short body, most long fins, all golfing, and also, blood parrots. Generally, I don’t even like albinos.
I just prefer pure wild types, even if not taken from the wild.
There are a lot of manmade morphs/breeds of fish out there that I just don't find appealing to keep. Albino bichirs, balloon mollies, especially bubble eye goldfish, although mostly because their eye sacs can cause serious health issues. As pretty as bright and colorful fish can be, I'd take a wild type over any other morph any day. Although In my case I'd make sure it's captive-bred.

Any of 'em. Just trying to understand the appeal better.
I would say that the North American bass species does very little for me, personally.

I don’t have room for temensis, pinima or any of the ones that get that large but most Kelberi stay about the size of a wild Oscar with half the mass.

they beg for food, have a very prehistoric behavior to them. I find them interactive without being overly aggressive like a parachromis. More similar to red bay snook personality. Awesome growth rate and behavioral changes.
The species I like are intermedia, Kelberi, brokopondo and Xingu.

once I realized that if I can keep an Oscar well, there aren’t a whole heck of a lot large cichlids I cannot keep and that realization changed my view.
Same with bichirs, I didn’t like them when they felt out of reach.
