New new bloods, classick congi 
… surprised my wife hasent put a pillow over my face yet 
… this batch was too big for my smalls and too small for general pop sooo in the old poly 5’x3’ they went 
. Fingers crossed my CK’s play nice while these 2 grow a bit. They seem very fresh from the wild but took tilipia 1st day. Left a night light on for them and ill b keeping a close eye in case i need to remove the knives. Provided some wood and pvc pipe in hopes they hide if needed.

… i can quickly see y congicus are ur favorite… i need 50 more …1st batch of the 7-8” was from lone star so most likely brought in by eric ang… these last 2 at 9”-10” from George @ Nationwide
Update on the new bloods… all 4 are eating cut fish and have been hit with 2 rounds of prazi and kanaplex… Anxious to get all 4 together in the 230 but the micros have a ways to go yet. Hardest part is not feeding them too much. Dont want to bloat em or have em puke.

… smdh… heard a pretty loud tank bang last night… didnt think much of it as thats normal over here. Found this during my morning rounds 
. Its always gotta be the favorites and most expensive of the bunch. This girl was skittish and i witnessed quite a few spaz outs over 2-3 yrs with me. Sure didn’t expect this tho. Tanganyika Congicus to davey jones locker. Gutted… tested water just to be sure and nothin odd there. Nitrates 5-10, 0 ammonia. Not a mark on her. She just ate well 2 days ago and has been putting on size since the tank upgrade. Been years for a sudden death in house here or even a blunt force trauma. #FullMoonFreakOut

I hate when that happens. When just one dies it’s usually old age or a panic issue, still a good idea to check water quality.-1
