You might have mixed up the leis with jardinis.

He had beautiful jardinis but I’m looking for leichardti arowanas. They are harder to come by.

You are correct fellas. My bad.
I’m from Queensland originally. It’s strange to me that the Lei’s are harder to source. The Jardine River is much less accessible than the Leichardt River Far North Queensland is cut off by monsoon rains for 3-4 months each year. The only access is by air as the river crossings are under raging flood waters. Perhaps they’re more difficult to breed in captivity
FYI, in Australia we call them Saratoga, not arowana.
