Coast to Coast Overflow Advice Please!!

Awesome. I'm thinking instead of drilling the returns in each upper corner to just have them hook over the top of the tank as I'm sure there are flexible hoses that can direct the flow right? This way I'm above the water line if I want more surface agitation etc. Does this make sense?

It's really the look you want. Returns dont have to go over the top to still have surface agitation. As long as the retutns are close to the surface.

Loc-lines are good for returns in the tank.

Adding pix of locline coming up and out from internal overflow. It creates a lot of surface agitation too.

My C2C runs left to right into a external overflow box with 2 -2" Herbies. This tank did not have a return built into it. I just built a return and used locline. Clean look with All the accesssoris in the sump.
