I believe an electric blue jack dempsey is a result of selective breeding. Additionally, there are differences between a normal one, and electric blue. The electric blue has such a brilliant, and electric blue color to it, while the normal one, looks like a normal jack dempsey.

I've only had two Oscars in my entire life. One, was a white tiger oscar, while the other one was a red tiger oscar. Both, died within only a week. The first, because he seemed unable to properly consume feeder fish, while the other my convict cichlid detested.
