I voted Kevin Garnett, but now that I think about it, it should be Kobe. If he hadn't wrapped himself in so much scandal and publicity over the years, he would without any doubt or argument be the rightful successor to Michael Jordan. Lebron James is a monster, but no one since michael has had the pure athelticism, ability, game vision, skill, creativity, and not to mention Clutchness of Kobe Bryant.

in which i will be laughing @ myself if lebron takes it,,, but i highly doubt it.. if you campare him to the expierience level of KOBE BRYANT!!

agreed. Lebron just doesn't contribute like these other guys. I was a bit worried when Gasol went to the lakers, as I thought he would clash with Kobe over having more points, but Kobe had no problem taking back seat for a while. He had a ridiculous # of assists, and let Gasol do the work. Now, when gasol wasn't producing, Kobe took control and put up big numbers. Same thing with Nash, same thing with MJ. Lebron is a fantastic player, but he forgets it's not always about Leading the NBA in points and appearing on sportcenter top 10 every night. Remember, MJ set records in assists as well as scoring.

Kobe has 3 rings already. Did you mean without Shaq?
This year is very tough for MVP with all the great players we have. CP3 is very well deserving along with the other guys. If it's the most valuable to his team I would have to go with Lebron. They are a 15 win team without him. They are terrible and he brought them to the finals last year. The last time I checked he leads the league in pts in the 4th quarter as well.
