I am sorry, I don't mean to be defensive, but the tang police thing gets old. This isn't my first rodeo. I am well aware of the housing requirements of these fish and plan to house them accordingly.
The reason for the "temporary tanks" is that I don't have room for the 210 in my current apartment the space I planned to put it is 3 inches too small, and the more I think about it I have no desire to stack up several tons of rock and water on a second floor. The 90 g. will be plenty of space in the interim if necessary (I have had the blue tang for six months and have only seen a quarter inch of growth). I can't get into a house for another 18 months or so. If worse comes to worse I will rehome the Blue Tang with a local reefer on our local forum if my plans for the 210 fall through, the Kole will be fine in the 90 g I have in my living room when the time comes. Believe me, I am not sentencing them to a painful life in the 45 g. tank.
