10-15 gal. office tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had one at work before. DId a cheesey community set up so everyone could enjoy it. I had Black Gravel, a neon pot, glow-in-the-dark plants, and used an atinic light on it so it would glow. I had 12 neon tetras, 3 female bettas, 4 glass catfish, and 3 otocinclus. It was a fun little tank.

well sorry theyre smaller to me any way silver dollars can get quite big a tewenty would house those and discus need a larger tank. the only reason i said jack dempsey is because there cool fish and you can keep a few in a twenty maybe two in a 15
i haven't read the whole thread yet, so i apologize if this has already been stated. jack dempseys require a 55 gallon tank per pair, and you could maybe keep one in a 35. the truth is that a jd wouldn't be able to turn around in a 20 gallon tank. please stop posting bs.

youre right...but luckily i know better.

those small african cichlids come in lots of neat colors and they don't get extra big.. would probably do just fine with 2 or 3 in a 20 gal aquarium, a few rocks and a dark substrate.. JMO

lol wow a few jack dempseys in a 20 hahahahaha, i wouldnt even put a JD in a 20 for grow out. if you have a "few"jack dempseys in a 20 man those fish must go for you all the time. this is 2 the person who said about the dampseys. i would go with blue rams there class i have some, i saw a tank with just blue rams and some bottom eaters and it look amazing.

a 10- 15 gallon tank? Well since its at work, you'll probably want to keep the maint. too a minimum, what if you went with 5-6 kihli loaches, a dwarf gourami, and a female betta or two. Than decorate with plants and driftwood. Maybe even a few ghost shrimp for algae clean up.
