i'd go with some sturgeon and if you want to add A LOT of guppies, thats what they did at seaworld. there arapaima/rtc/gator gar etc. tank has millions of guppies and theyll never die out.

o and if you have the cash why not a manatee?

why not try red tail cats, they seem to survive well enough in uk lakes they do however eat the odd duck!

Basically it's native fish or nothing but an exceptional few. If I had a pond like that I would try to put something in it that would reproduce during the summer and fish out everything before it gets cold. Man I would love to try to raise arowanas one day!
