If you recall, pond was being constructed off the floor due to potential flooding of the basement. Seems like if it fails, it will just be like an extra spring flood in Maine...Good luck on the build! Remember to take your time and do it right the first time, any mistakes with 1000 gallons of water could mean big $$$ disasters down the road.

I am curious why you decided to go so deep, given that you will only have top viewing? also hope your arms are long if you plan on moving or arranging anything once it is full... bring a snorkel.Finished!
