2 1/2 years later the tank is still like the day i filled it. Water, algae, and fish are the only changes since 2012. Got a few updated pics.

So truth be told, I have seen tons of write ups on plywood builds but have always passed them over because I didn't think they would be cool/functional/permanent, etc.

Boy was I wrong! I am very glad I started with this post, I read all entries from start to finish. This build is truly inspiring! Great job on the quality of the build, and the final aesthetics of the decorations! And I guess a lot of credit needs to go out to the CFO of the house, she has to be the coolest wife in the world to let you pulls this off!
