11'' flowerhorn tankmates

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was actually thinking of setting up a planted tank with some large pieces of driftwood in there and getting a 10 in'' black arowana. Then after the aro grows a bit add a smaller FH...

The tank would be a 180g, I was just wondering if this would be possible to have a Black aro and a male FH, maybe a female FH aswell?

Or would a seperate tank be better?

I have seen it done but Im afraid to risk it.

get a school of giant danios.....get like 50 of them and watch them retreat when the FH chases them....fun to watch i might say....make sure you get alot cause they rely on other danios if danger is near.....if they are singled out they might be in trouble....but who cares there cheap right....

this is wrong, they are still living things damnit i cant stand ppl like you who value fish as monetry items rather than lives. im not flaming just expressing my opinion:banhim: :(

if your fh's paired then they would kill your aro

So, do you think it would be Ok with just a male FH?

I was also thinking of maybe not doing plants and having an FH with a Jag, Red Tiger mota, and a Loiselli with the black aro...I just dont know though.

I might just not get a black aro, I dont want it to be murdered.

Im thinking a 180 would be good for a pair of FH because I could set up a divider so the fry could live on one side and the Male FH on one side.

I was thinking I might just do a cichlid community but I'm not really sure as to what a male FH would do well with besides a female FH.

I have a flower horn about 6 in and he bothers all the other fish in the tanks except yhe clown loaches i have in the tank he gets along with yhem pretty well all they need is a place to hide.

This is a 21 inches flower horn
age: 1yr and 10 months old.

Very responsive to a person who wants to play with him.
This Flower Horn is very aggressive to a fish community.
dispatch anyone who stands on his way.
