that one is from the Black River, they are very rare, Koop will pay some serious money for a black dovi..................see his thread

his growth has slowed, but I will continue to keep everybody updated.

He eats massivore, hikari gold............both from JohnPTC, by the kilo. And fresh Brownsville shrimp right off the boat. He is now on a diet........trying to bring him into shape so I do not get so much flack about my feeding regimen.

Great Dovii mate, mine is a little longer 17-18inches but your boy has some pot belly on him . His Missus is built in the same vain but they look very famine proof .
I think their build has keep their aggression levels lower because my male would take over the my 240g himself. I just sold my smaller pair so the my big boy can pair up with my small female.
Great fish though, Dovii are very special fish.
